The Signing of The Declaration of Independence

One of the things that I would love to see a project done for and made in Oculus is a lot of time traveling experiences around concepts based around panoramas or portraits or historical events. I think having a game where a player without limitation of space, can navigate based on their room space and explore different kinds of worlds or look at simulated events from history. It’d even be interesting to see more of these accurate events that people can create, such as historical wars, historical meetings and events, the signing of the declaration of independence and more. The big thing is room space, a lot of VR has limited room space and without wires and annoying space requirements, there’s much more environment navigation, where the player can go outside and walk around their yard and be in an entirely different art of the world that is historical and is simulated for them to navigate through historical environments. This project would be 1 game with multiple simulations, tools, museum galleries, games, and basic job-training.

Imagine having a simulation that a player can have no space requirement and go around on such historical events. Something where the player can navigate by physically moving around and experiencing things that had made such a huge event. I think VR in particular needs more of this. There are some, and some that are simulated, such as the Apollo 11 event, but there isn’t much more. I think for education and a really good tool is to make more simulations like Apollo 11 VR. I think it opens up more opportunities of virtual education, and helps the world entirely with how well the Oculus is when it comes to consumer friendliness and its price and no annoyances. It opens up way more potential for how VR is going to be developed. One of the things from this assignment is to show the progress of VR, and where it’s going to be. I think educating and job-training, and playing video games on it as a learning tool is one of the biggest advantages that VR has to this day.

Let’s open up its opportunity in VR to teach and educate more. Even if its a silly game that teaches things like kinetic or hands on learning, or a simulation where you go to an art museum to learn more about art. I think having more of this and developing a project that is sincerely a multiple event place where you can explore many events, art, games, and tools, is incredibly important. My project would to include all of this and all the historical events that I’ve studied in the and share them with the players who would play the project. I think educating is one of the most fun things to do when it comes to VR, as its all simulated and can be such an efficient way to teach people about the world we live in today, and what they will learn to do and what future can be built from the education from the past.
